I honestly don't believe they'll get that close for another few years everything was seriously align for them. I've been a Niner's fan for quite a long time probably when I was a small child and seeing Terrell catch that TD against Greenbay was soo amazing. SACAnime & Snafucon 2011 9.13.11

Alright so I bought a bunch of stuff from both these conventions. Lets start off with Sacanime which was held on Sept.

1st time going to Sacanime ehh it's cool I just don't like the layout of the convention. A lot of people attended this one and there tournament had a good turn out for SSFIV AE. I manage to get 4th place losing to akuma :( and my other buddies ended up getting 1st and second. What I picked up was Yui, Ein plush and a bunch of fan art so i can make the lab look nicer while filming!

SNAFU Con 2011 is a local convention here in Reno and I volunteered to help out letting them use my monitor and sticks! From Last years it was a huge improvement shit was awesome! Definitely cant wait till next years. I also gotta cosplay I felt kinda out of place lol I ran the AE and Mahvel brackets and recorded matches. Got 3rd in AE :( and 4th in Mahvel. Met some cool people and of course open the gates. Highlight was picking up Bible Black figure, Azuyan plush, and a Mayushi Figure tuturu!!!!!

So I've been in the lab trying to make up random ideas I can do with my streaming equipment so I decided to record myself and a few friends (CBK and Scuba Steve) Drinking 4 Loko and playing online. After recording for 2 hours I realized I had echo on so I had to trash the player cam :( oh well will film the next session in two weeks and I'll have it much better. After EVO recovery, man what a trip. I entered SSFIV AE did ok went 6-2 lost in losers finals. Drank a lot. Got the EVOLA virus was hecka sick going back home with an epic 10 hour drive lol, but shoutouts to Brokentier for letting me stay there and getting a car pool set shit was awesome.

Currently been focusing on getting the stream working properly with webcams and cooler looking overlays. I've been in the lab for a quit a bit and getting closer to finish product. You can check out

Everything always needs to be adjusted cause shit goes wrong all the time. It can get a bit stressful, but I got that bottle of Jack Daniels on me so its defiantly a stress reliever.

My Arcana Heart 3 stream is going steady. Shoutouts to people who watch it I appreciate people that come in and join. However I hate the prod farmers so stupid wanting points. I wake up with like 100+ losses which is silly. Whatever gets you off I guess. So the stream is being cut down to Friday - Monday.

Anyway other things about me I purchased a VLX stick which is gdlk. It's defiantly the Cadillac of sticks. Going to bring to EVO (Huge event in Las Vegas) and get it dual modded so I can play on both ps3 and xbox 360.

Hmm quick update just purchase new sticks vlx, and hrap v3. Been grinding A.E now shits boring, have to prepare for EVO. Went to ReveLAtion went 3-2 in Arcana Heart 3 met some cool people there. Went 1-2 in Marvel 3 and I went 0-2 in AE :( The following week was NCR9 shit was awesome other then the fruit flies. Went 3-2 in AE pretty cool got a bunch of casuals in talk about power leveling. Well haven't blogged in a while and not sure if anyone even reads them, but anyway it's always nice to type a few paragraphs once in a while. Lets see I've been practicing Super Street Fighter IV lately because I'm plan on attending ReveLAtion down in LA on June 10-12 w000t! Sakonoko best cammy player is heading there so I want to level up my game. My past two tournaments were fail I went 1-2 at West Coast Warzone 3 and NCR 8 blah.. I just gotta know my matchups then play my game and I'd be set.

Haven't been practing much of Marvel 3, but I get the general idea of the madness my team right now is Wesker, Phoenix, Morrigan. I like Morrigan as anchor because of Xfactor and Astral Vision is nonsense. I just have to work on my phoenix tricks and I'll be decent I think.

On another note I just purchase a Dell XPS-15 1k shipped it's suppose to arrive at my house on april 27 hella long :( No interest for 18 months it has an Intel I7,Bluray drive, 6gb of ram, 1gb Nvidia Geforce G525M, JBL speakers, and back-lit keyboard.

Other than practice I've been watching a lot of Bones which is an awesome show. About an anthropologist using her legit skills to solve murder cases it's very interesting how they can determine how people died with the way they find the body. Also caught up on Gintama which just started it's new season 5 probably my second favorite show right now only behind K-ON!!. The new hotness that I'm eagerly anticipating is Beelzebub I randomly click on it from crunchyroll and it's very entertaining.

Another show I almost forgot is Kaiji which came out in 2008 is making it's return today and it's a gambling anime which is bad ass. In need to catch up on Black Lagoon OVA and also Air Gear OVA.

Well my stick collection started off when Street fighter IV was release back in Feb 09 they ran out of Mad Catz TE Sticks so I decided to get the other one HRAP PRO EX after changing the art and buttons it's still my favorite stick. I eventually picked up 2 Ps3 TE stick at the same time and switch the art looks much nicer. Forget stock artwork I say! I eventually picked up the HRAP EX-SE, HRAP3, and Round 2 TE stick is my latest and greatest. (Also have Tekken 6 Wireless and TVC stick)

SNAFU CON stands for Sierra Nevada Anime Fans Unite. It's an anime (Japanese Animation) convention being held at Grand Sierra October 22-23 and I'll be attending Saturday's event which is the 23. I'm looking forward to going to this event and I took a day off work. My main reason of going will be to attend the Super Street Fighter IV gaming tournament and also buying figurines and other anime swag.

Figurines that are made in Japan are extremely detailed they can be expensive ranging 100+, but the effort they put into it making a collector such as myself greatly appreciate it. I only have a few of the expensive figurines, but they're very tasteful ones. Such as this one called Haruhi Gekisou.

This picture isn't taken by me since my camera sucks and can't get the quality of the figurine's detail so I Google this picture. All the small details that are into this one such as her guitar strings, necklace, hair, dress and so on really makes it worth buying comparing it to a cheaper version is huge difference. It's pretty big size about seven inches tall. I originally bought it last year for roughly 100 bucks and now it's selling 250 shipped on Ebay. Wow that's pretty crazy. Figurines are only worth a lot if it's really popular characters and are generally a limited release. Here's another picture of Haruhi Gekisou

Later today I'll be picking up a new phone, it's the Samsung Epic android phone from sprint. It has your fancy touchscreen and qwerty keyboard which is very nice. It's very bright screen and has a decent camera built in. My main reason for getting it is the keyboard and it's very fast. My old phone Samsung Rant is falling apart and it's about time I upgraded.

Best news of the day. As a San Francisco 49er fan this season been rough. Starting the season 0-5 wen they could easily been 2-3, but whatever it's NFL and it's unpredictable. Today they played the Raiders and beat them 17-9. The game was pretty bad and I follow them real closely. They just played awful, but a win is a win.

I also do sports betting and I've been running bad. Lost five bets in a row. I haven't run this bad in a while. My record for this season in both NCAAF and NFL is 22-18-1 blah. I'm still profiting so it isn't too bad, but it sucks cause I just won six in a row.

Such gloomy weather today so no filming. It's also difficult to get people together when your just bribing them with beer and food, but that's all I can afford at the moment. Since it's raining I have to wash my car again boo. I installed a new Jim Wolf Technology pop charger for my Nissan 350z it sounds amazing. It's a nice air filter for my car. The sound doesn't get old for me. It's like a whooshing sound every time I shift my car.

Thinking ahead...

Well today at work my boss told me I had fifteen hours of vacation left to kill. Thinking of what I can use it for how about my other hobby poker. I've been pretty profitable playing in live games and I'm pretty decent tournament player. Anyway I looked for tournaments and I saw there's one I want to do in Las Vegas.

This tournament is called Deep Stack Extravaganza IV will be taking place from October 24 - November 24. It's in the Venetian Hotel. There tournaments ranges from 300-1000 dollars and a lot of players do these tournaments meaning the top prize is always big. I'll be heading to Vegas November 12 - November 14. This will be my first time going to Vegas so I'm pretty excited. First prize is roughly between 20-50k depending on how many people enter.

On another note I've been thinking about what to do about filming my car and such. Getting people together is pretty tough so I postponed it to tonight and will see what happens. My idea will be to shoot cruising to downtown and ending at UNR parking garage. When we get to the garage its always empty I can get more detailed shots of each individual car that will come with us. Here's a sample picture of what I did before.

Testing the waters

Okay so I decided to go drive around and wow 395 South has a ton of construction. Like is that necessary those roads are so smooth. I remember flying down going 100+ no problem and it's completely in construction mode almost all the way down to where the freeway ends. Now I have to look for a plan B. I like that freeway to cruise because it was three lanes, no traffic, it's lighted area, and it was smooth street.

Anyway I was heading home 395 North and pass golden valley it’s pretty nice I mean there's no lights on the freeway but it's very smooth not to much traffic I think I can do some moving scenes during the day heading into that direction.

After work I plan on having a group meeting with some people I know so we can get this started maybe just have a shot of us all rolling through downtown it would look nice with all the casino lights.

I plan on being a passenger though since I never get the shots I want. I tested out my camera and it does very well for using my cars headlight as the source of light. If I'm shooting in down town there's no problem it will just look good. Hopefully there won't be too much traffic.

Got New Kicks!

Hello there! Well here's another blog for today and I just receive a new pairs of shoes in the mail today. Here's a small review of the Nike SB Dunk Low "Chun-Li" edition.

These shoes were originally release in Sept 2010 and were a limited release. I found out about them from forums in the fighting game community. I search through Google for stores that had them in stock. I did manage to find a few sites that had it, but was selling them for 115 dollars plus shipping. They were retailing at 80 dollars. So being my cheap self I decided to keep looking around and found eBay being the cheapest at 99.99!

Anyway about these shoes they're inspired from the street fighter character Chun-Li costume. It uses light suede blue and it has gold stitching to match her costume. There's also a graphic of her inside the shoe for the extra plus. They're very comfortable shoes. I think it was a good buy. Slap Street Fighter on some shoes will defiantly get my attention LOL. Pictures don't do justice but there's a lot of little details that makes you appreciate it.

On another note I'm planning on start filming tomorrow night and I'll post up how well that goes in the next blog.

A New Beginning

It's been a while since my last blog. I'm thinking about shooting a new car video especially with my Nissan 350z. I bought my Canon Vixia HF20 for five hundred dollars on Black Friday last year and really haven't been using it to it's full potential. Here's a video that's got me motivated to start filming again at least before the snow sets in. It's Ken Block's Gymkhana

No way am I going to do stunts like that here on the streets of Reno, but you get the idea. It's amazing seeing all those camera angles. Showing the inside when he shifts the gear. It then switches to showing the wheels. Also showing the exhaust pipe on another camera angle. Even though this is being shot with multiple cameras, I believe I can get it done with just using one! Taking my time and shooting with patience. I have to be the camera man though I never get the shot I want correctly.

Next blog post I'll be brainstorming what time of day for the locations to use. Also I'm thinking about putting my friends Infinti G35 in it. Its been 2 years since the last video I made of his car and it's dramatically changed.
